Where was this John McCain during the campaign?

I have to admit he’s a card: I’m talking about California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who today was busy trying pump up the flailing McCain campaign in Ohio. He cracked jokes, and made a few decent observations:

Oh yeah, you again - John McCain knows what it feels like to be trapped, and trapped he is. Blue is quickly becoming the new Red, and even his Alaskan Fascionista running mate can’t seem to stem the tide.

In another ominous sign for the McCain/Palin folks, Virginia has gone solid blue.
And Gallup has Obama up by 11% nationally. Clearly, the whole Ayers line of attack is not working. Time to break out Rev. Wright for the home stretch? Count on it.
Everyone knows this a big election with big issues at stake for our country: the economy, the war, energy, and repairing our nation’s image here and abroad.
